Comitatus: A Journal of Medieval and Renaissance Studies

Comitatus: A Journal of Medieval and Renaissance Studies was first published in 1970 under the auspices of the English Medieval Club at UCLA. It is now a peer-reviewed annual publication of the UCLA Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies, under the supervision of the CMRS publications director. Its list of subscribers includes individuals and research libraries throughout the United States and abroad. The yearly subscription rate is $30, plus $3 shipping and handling within the US and $5 abroad.

Comitatus: A Journal of Medieval and Renaissance Studies publishes articles by graduate students and recent PhDs in any field of medieval and Renaissance studies. The journal maintains a tradition of gathering work from across disciplines, with a special interest in articles that have an interdisciplinary or cross-cultural scope.
